*No comic-book villains are included here since I already listed those in another meme

Before starting this list I want to do the Honorable Mentions. Because there were many villains I wanted here that didn't get to be.

-General Grievous, from the Star Wars 2003 2-D Cartoon: BAD-ASS. That's the single word you need to describe this jedi-murdering cyborg. Man this guy's concept is so radical and so awesome. Reason he didn't get here? Well, he isn't too memorable and sadly the show got cancelled before they could develop the character a bit more. However he still stands out as one of my favourite characters ever because of this.

-Dr.Robotnik, from the Saturday morning cartoon "Sonic the Hedgehog": PURE EVIL. That's what he was. Way superior than his video game counterparts, Robotnik actually succeeded on taking most of the world. His only downfall is, that the show treated him like a joke sometimes.

-Slade, from Teen Titans: Most of you know this dude. Manipulative, evil, sadistic, very intelligent and skilled, but I had a problem with him. His motivation. It's a good motivation, don't get me wrong, and it's impressive how far does he goes just to accomplish it, but it's badly executed. It doesn't feel right.

-Bowser, from the Super Mario Bros series: Another simplistic baddie who is just plain bad-ass. Still, though, since he kickstarted the whole villain gimmick in video game history, I'd say he has a pretty good reason to be here. Fact is, he never really had a kick-ass moment. He conquered the Universe twice sure, and he has displayed a very fun personality on the RPG and Paper Mario games, but it's still nowhere near what I want to love in a villain.

-Dr.Nefarious, from the Ratchet & Clank games: Just because he had one of the best villain plans ever.

Now, let's get started with the Top 10.

10. Eris, from Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas

When I go back into my memory, there aren't many female villains that I like. Most are personally boring. All except for Eris. This lady has everything. She pretty much controls the entire universe, she's chaos incarnate, her animation is BEAUTIFUL, and her plan was almost perfect. I would say many more things, but let's leave it like this: Eris is the BEST DreamWorks villain EVER.

9. Amon, from The Legend of Korra

The Last Airbender lacked of good villains. All of them were awful aside from Zuko and Iroh during Season 1. Amon was the perfect villain for the franchise. He was the only one except for Aang who could take someone's bending powers, and that is the main reason why Amon's soul will forever haunt Korra... Because he's the only villain who actually succeeded on defeating the Avatar.

8. Pyramid Head, from Silent Hill 2

The morbid manifestation of guilt and sexual frustration on a zombie-like giant blade-wielder rapist. He's bad-ass, he's terrifying, he's disturbing, and beyond anything, he's one of the few antagonists with a perfect motivation. Heck, every Silent Hill monster motivated by a fear was perfect, simply because it's cool seeing a hero fighting his deepest fears in order to surpass and overcome them.

7. The Joker, from The Batman

From all the versions of the Joker I like, I had to go with the 2004 one because he has everything I want in the Joker. Chaotic design and chaotic nature, but motivated by spreading HIS OWN fun. And also, this is one of the few Jokers who doesn't overshadow other Batman villains, unlike DiMaggio's (still love his performance, though) or Ledger's take. He might not be Batman's archenemies, but with a character like Batman, you don't need arch-enemies or weak goons, you simply need tragic figures gone to the dark side.

6. Tirek, from My Little Pony

Yup. A guy from My Little Pony got ahead of the Joker and Pyramid Head themselves. But here's the thing. Tirek is both an amazingly evil and amazingly creative and original villain. He's ment to be a satanic archetype, wanting to spread darkness across the world and twist it into his hellish realm. Not to mention, his weapon of choice, the Rainbow of Darkness, is based on Lich magic, where liches ripped their own hearts and turned them into dark magic for offensive and deffensive means. The pilot iself is just about him being the biggest mofo Hasbro ever showed us aside from Megatron.

5. Green Goblin, from The Spectacular Spider-Man

I wanted to put an animated version of my favourite Marvel villain. And I decided to go with the Spectacular version because even though the TAS version was the most sympathetic, he wasn't really that evil or funny. Still very, very menacing. But Steve Blum's performance takes the cake. He simply nails everything and steals the show, literally. There's an entire episode with him breaking the fourth wall while making other Spider-Man villains fight Spidey and he keeps making rhyme after rhyme, which comes all the time as hilarious. Green Goblin was the most successful villain in the show, and for good reason. He tricked other villains into fighting themselves so that he could rise as the city's crime king. This Gobby is sheer green mean awesomeness

4. Darth Vader, from the Star Wars franchise

Gotta love the classics. Vader is still one of my favourite life-movie villains. He's such a deep character, who is incredibly sympathetic when he wants, but when he goes fully 100% bad-ass evil, he gets the title for best movie villain ever. No wonder he's so iconic. He has been an inspiration for most fictional villains, just because he was such a groundbreaking villain at the time. He's pretty much space Dracula. That sounds awesome, BTW. They need to make a movie about Dracula going to space.

3. Aku, from Samurai Jack

Everything is great about this evil-doer. First of all, only mankind's hope can kill him. Or in other words, a sword a samurai called Jack wields to slay this galactic tyrannic emperor. He's so powerful three gods fear him. He fell to earth as a meteorite and killed all the dinosaurs. AWESOME. The Shogun of Sorrow is easily the best cartoon villain I've ever seen, because he's the perfect match between funny and serious. You know he'll make a joke, but you also realize at any point he could cut your head off, feed it to the dogs, destroy the city you lived in and slay the survivors. That's Aku. The Shapeshifting Master of Darkness.

2. Cell, from Dragon Ball

Let me define this perfect villain in one sentence:
He's all the heroes personalities, abilities, knowledge and power into one. He was ment to be the last villain of the franchise, and the only one who successfully killed Goku. Is that enough? Or do you want to say more? Yes? Alright.
No matter how much you hurt him, he'll regenerate any part of his body even if there's only one cell left of him, and become stronger. To the point where he could be invincible and limitless on power.

1. Jason Voorhees, from the Friday the 13th franchise

Jason is a character I'm not sure I could classify as a villain. He ain't a hero either, if anything, he's the slasher killer with most kills on movie history, and we all know killing is crime. But here's the thing. It's not his fault. He has suffered way more than any other character I've ever seen. He has seen everything and now he's what he least wanted to be considered. A freak, an outcast, A MONSTER. Even with all his power, he would like to be good, to do something that would make the world happy. But no. All the hatred people grow on him for entering his territory is what makes him more lethal. He'll eventually become more immortal and stronger by the second and until people stop going to Crystal Lake, he won't find peace for seeing his beloved mother sacrifice herself for his son.

Jason is still my favourite fictional character of all time, because he's had every kind of moment a villain, or a character, needs.
